A FOOT OF SNOW AND MORE NOW

OH YES IT IS SNOWING AGAIN..WE ALREADY GOT A FOOT OF SNOW..NOW THE NEXT STORM IS HITTING US...HARD AND HEAVY...IT IS QUITE BEAUTIFUL..I CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUTSIDE AND WALK IN THE FALLING SNOW...THE OTHER NIGHT..MY DAUGHTER AND I WENT WALKING AT NIGHT..THE WIND WAS WHIPING AND THE SNOW WAS FALLING..THE SNOW WAS CRUNCHING UNDER OUR FEET...IT WAS BELOW ZERO TOO...I KNOW YOU'RE THINKING WE'RE CRAZY...BUT THERE IS JUST SOMETHING ABOUT WALKING IN THE OUTDOORS IN ALL KINDS OF WEATHER...

CHEROKEE ALSO WAS BOUNDING AND ROMPING WITH US..WITH HIS LITTLE BLUE LIGHT ON HIS COLLAR...SO PEOPLE AND CARS CAN SEE HIM..I ALSO HAVE ONE...IT WAS SO GREAT..THE SNOW HITTING OUR FACE AND MELTING THE WIND SO STRONG IT WAS PUSHING US ALL OVER THE PLACE..WE LAUGHED AND LAUGHED...OF CAUSE WE WERE THE ONLY NUTS OUTS BESIDES THE PLOWS...BUT WE SURE AS HELL HAD A GREAT TIME...

SO TODAY IT IS - 2 NO WIND AND THE SNOW IS JUST FALLING AND AS SOON AS I FINISH HERE I WILL JUMP IN THE SHOWER AND GEAR UP FOR MY WALK...CHEROKEE AND ME...I PUT STUFF ON HIS PAWS TO PROTECT HIS FEET...TOO...

GOTTA GET THE LAST BIT OF THE SNOW WHILE I CAN BEFORE WE GO ON THE 26TH TO FLORIDA...TAKING ALOT OF PICTURES AND BREATHING IN THE COLD AIR...SNOT FREEZE..MY SON IN LAW JUST ARRIVED BACK FROM FLORIDA LAST NIGHT...SO WE ALL CAN GO TOGETHER...WHAT A CHANGE IN WEATHER FOR HIM...POOR GUY..HE SAID IT WAS 80 DEGREES WHEN HE LEFT...

NOW THE BLAZER IS SNOW COVERED...OH WELL...

PEACE AND LIGHT TO ALL...SMILE AND BE HAPPY...HAPPINES IS JUST A THOUGHT AWAY...

You can trade all that great snow in for heavy rains and hurricans!

I snows hard and plenty in good old Wisconsin so I got another Dodge Ram 4 by 4 last year .. a 2007 model pick up truck with a club cab. It's -6 degrees F. now and my wife is cooking some steaks for us. It was 22 miles to church this morning and the roads were slippery.

Although I don't like the work snow creates here on the farm I will agree with you that there is something very magical walking in the snow and being outdoors while it is snowing.

Enjoy your snow and wishing you a happy 2009 in case I don't get back in time.
